since July Greece was experiencing it's worst heatwave in over 30 years, with temperature over 111°F (42+°C).

over 100 forests have been on fire, animals have been burned and several villages have been evacuated.

since then the whole country has over 150 spots that are on fire.
firefighters and volunteers are giving their lives to help put out the fires, the government is sleeping and not helping at all. the media are using the fear factor and doesn't spread the real facts and situations.

many foreign countries have sent help, such as firefighters, firetrucks, canantairs, aeroplanes and supplies.

people, organizations, stores and companies from all over Greece have been sending supplies and raising money for firefighters, people and animals affected!!!
